BORIS ASSOCIATION

We are an independent non-governmental organization operating in Poland since 1992. We support all civic activity – people, NGOs, civic initiatives. We believe in resolving social problems using the forces inherent in society.

SUPPORTING

We work through education, trainings and consultations for active citizens: we teach how to manage a NGO, build an effective team, raise funds, communicate with clients and sponsors.
We provide current information on the law that regulates the third sector in Poland. We know how to reconcile non-profit and business activities, we support social enterprises and run a certified Social Economy Support Center.

INITIATING

We are looking for new challenges in the development of the civic sector in Poland. We create nationwide network projects, we develop new models and methods of operation.

COMBINING

We support the developement of local partnerships that bring together civic organizations and representatives of local government and entrepreneurs. We integrate the civic sector and create platforms for advocacy of the organization’s interests and for local communities. We develop and implement local governments and NGOs cooperation programs.

ACTIVATING

We activate e local communitites: we promote independent problem solving, creating civic and self-help groups, and residents’ associations. We support people from groups at risk of social exclusion and promote tools and solutions in the area of social economy.
